The chef is super friendly and caring, visiting almost all of the tables to ask how the guests are enjoying things, and the servers are equally as accommodating. “ My wife and I visited this past weekend for the first time. It was a nice day so we sat outside near a fan. We enjoyed the adult beverages: An old fashion and rose froze. We first asked the waitress about the drinks (who was very knowledgeable of them) and she stated she made really good old fashions so we took her up on it. No complaint at all. The boudin appetizer had a nice kick and was delicious. Our meals: shrimp & grits (with andouille) and my wifes meal pictured was amazing. It wasn't to busy when we visited therefore service timing on everything was great. We definitely will be visiting again! Thank you all for good service and a good experience. ”
“ I called a day in advance to make sure my reservation was set, and the manager was so kind and thoughtful! Overall, Wonderful staff and service for a small celebration for my stepfather’s birthday! The staff were so friendly and even sang Happy Birthday! The Jamaican Snapper special was a hit! (Shrimp and Grits is my personal fav though) We had a small table in the private dining area, and it was just right! Not too noisy and the music was nice! Thank you to the staff and chefs for making my father’s birthday a special one! ”
“ Great Jazz Bar out on the outskirts of town. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is very good and the ambiance has a little Nawlins everywhere you turn. Sunday Jazz Brunch (3 pc band) is very good. And the bar is well stocked. Enjoy and Bon Appetit! ”
“ The service that we received at this restaurant was stellar! I cannot recall the gentleman’s name but he’s from Ethiopia (I hope management recognizes his perfect service). He was timely, knowledgeable, and hospitable. We really enjoyed the entire encounter. We ordered the blackened crab cakes (note these are fried on the outside), the seafood crepes, shrimp and grits, fried seafood platter, pasta, and shrimp etouffee. I have no complaints about the food. All of it was savory. The ONLY reason I didn’t personally give my dish 5 starts is because “when” I go back I wouldn’t reorder the same dish. It tasted good but it wasn’t delicious and the texture of the crepe was a bit unexpected as it seemed to be a bit toasted. Im accustomed to a “soft savory crepe.” I definitely would return, i would just choose a different dish. Everyone else at the table said they would reorder their SAME dish as it was that good except the guest that had the pasta (she said it was good but she wouldn’t reorder it). I highly recommend this place for the food, service, location, and ambiance. (This picture is of my seafood crepes) ”

“ We had a great lunch here! All the entrees and appetizers were good. The Oysters Lafayette were tasty. I personally had the Crepes Provenance - really liked them. Dog friendly - we ate outside on the patio. Quick and friendly service. Location is easy to get in and out of. Big portions. ”
